Lots of people confuse law of attraction with religious teachings. We, as a culture, like to think that “good” people receive more than “bad” people. We like to believe our actions are rewarded. Giving in order to receive is an old paradigm we’ve all bought in to, but it no longer fits new understandings of the quantum field and law of attraction.
New clients of mine, in trying to understand the workings of the law of attraction, often raise the question: “Why do some miserable, stingy, corrupt people just seem to get richer and richer all the while cheating and swindling others and pinching every dime?” The answer is: “because they have such a pure vibration of taking.”
People who are scoundrels, who believe they should have and take, often do and very successfully. There is no judgment in law of attraction. What you vibrate intensely is what you get. If you think you should be rich and can take and cheat without guilt, you get that. Anyone who believes purely – without contradiction – can live the experience of what they are believing. So if someone is living from the belief that, “I have to snatch all I can get, and it is OK to lie and cheat and steal because it is a dog eat dog world and everyone is in competition for limited resources and this is what I have to do to take care of myself,” then they can be very successful at it. We all probably know unscrupulous people who are wealthy and successful. Whether they are happy and fulfilled, is another question.
If we believe we have give in order to get, or if we believe we have to be ‘good’, or do certain things – we deny the power of our consciousness, and law of attraction is a teaching about consciousness. Quantum physics shows us the world we experience is a result of our intent – totally impartial, reflecting to us without judgment what we believe. Law of attraction and judgment are incompatible teaching.
