Law of Attraction tells us that we create our reality by our thoughts. This is now substantiated by discoveries in quantum physics. So, many of us, when we hear this, begin to think about winning the lottery. And nothing happens. Then we decide Law of Attraction doesn’t work. Law of Attraction works ALL OF THE TIME – that is why it’s a “law.” So if you have felt poor all your life, felt like you can’t get ahead, felt like “people like me ever get any breaks,” for instance, Law of Attraction will continue giving you more experiences like that.
You can’t spend 5 minutes on a new thought and 23 hours and 55 minutes thinking the old thoughts and have anything change. Law of Attraction reflects your dominant and most practiced thoughts. (And attitudes, beliefs, expectations, feelings, and all that is going on under the surface of your conscious awareness.)
There is a science to changing your thoughts. Most of our thoughts are just habits or patterns of thought we’ve lazily fallen into. We tend to keep on thinking either, whatever our first thought was about a subject, or what the loudest voice says about the subject – and the loudest, and most persistent voice on any subject is usually on our TV. Psychology and the branch that deals with changing habits helps us understand how to change our thoughts. There is a whole new discipline in psychology called positive psychology that, ironically, teaches a great deal of what Law of Attraction has taught for centuries. (Sort of like Columbus ‘discovering’ what lots of folks knew was there all along!)
There is a science to attracting what you really want. That is the science of vibrational management or as Abraham calls it, the science of deliberate creation. Deliberate, conscious creation requires that you put out a congruent vibration. Your thoughts, feelings, attitudes, emotions, expectations and beliefs ALL need to be in alignment with the thing you want to happen. If you think, “I want to win the lottery because I have so many bills to pay,” the vibrational emphasis of that statement is on “many bills to pay.” On the other hand, if you say to yourself, “I want to win the lottery because it will be so much fun!” that is a stronger, more powerful statement. “Winning the lottery,” and “so many bills to pay,” are contradictory energies – they cancel each other out. “Winning the lottery,” and “fun” are on the same vibrational frequency and they amplify each other, making your statement, aligned, congruent, stronger and more powerful.
I’m not telling you that you can win the lottery if you start using law of attraction, but I am definitely telling you that you can have a better life with law of attraction.
